Pass the Ticket

Adversaries may “pass the ticket” using stolen Kerberos tickets to move laterally within an environment, bypassing normal system access controls. Pass the ticket (PtT) is a method of authenticating to a system using Kerberos tickets without having access to an account's password. Kerberos authentication can be used as the first step to lateral movement to a remote system. When preforming PtT, valid Kerberos tickets for Valid Accounts are captured by OS Credential Dumping. A user's service tickets or ticket granting ticket (TGT) may be obtained, depending on the level of access. A service ticket allows for access to a particular resource, whereas a TGT can be used to request service tickets from the Ticket Granting Service (TGS) to access any resource the user has privileges to access. A Silver Ticket can be obtained for services that use Kerberos as an authentication mechanism and are used to generate tickets to access that particular resource and the system that hosts the resource (e.g., SharePoint). A Golden Ticket can be obtained for the domain using the Key Distribution Service account KRBTGT account NTLM hash, which enables generation of TGTs for any account in Active Directory. Adversaries may also create a valid Kerberos ticket using other user information, such as stolen password hashes or AES keys. For example, "overpassing the hash" involves using a NTLM password hash to authenticate as a user (i.e. Pass the Hash) while also using the password hash to create a valid Kerberos ticket.

Affected vulnerabilities (Inferred)

CVE-2025-54863Radiometrics VizAir is vulnerable to exposure of the system's REST API key through a publicly accessible configuration file. This allows attackers to remotely alter weather data and configurations, automate attacks against multiple instances, and extract sensitive meteorological data, which could potentially compromise airport operations. Additionally, attackers could flood the system with false alerts, leading to a denial-of-service condition and significant disruption to airport operations. Unauthorized remote control over aviation weather monitoring and data manipulation could result in incorrect flight planning and hazardous takeoff and landing conditions.
CVE-2025-49752Azure Bastion Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability
CVE-2024-12799Insufficiently Protected Credentials vulnerability in OpenText Identity Manager Advanced Edition on Windows, Linux, 64 bit allows Privilege Abuse. This vulnerability could allow an authenticated user to obtain higher privileged user’s sensitive information via crafted payload. This issue affects Identity Manager Advanced Edition: from 4.8.0.0 through 4.8.7.0102, 4.9.0.0.
CVE-2025-0867The standard user uses the run as function to start the MEAC applications with administrative privileges. To ensure that the system can startup on its own, the credentials of the administrator were stored. Consequently, the EPC2 user can execute any command with administrative privileges. This allows a privilege escalation to the administrative level.
CVE-2021-36783A Insufficiently Protected Credentials vulnerability in SUSE Rancher allows authenticated Cluster Owners, Cluster Members, Project Owners and Project Members to read credentials, passwords and API tokens that have been stored in cleartext and exposed via API endpoints. This issue affects: SUSE Rancher Rancher versions prior to 2.6.4; Rancher versions prior to 2.5.13.
CVE-2019-1384A security feature bypass vulnerability exists where a NETLOGON message is able to obtain the session key and sign messages. To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker could send a specially crafted authentication request, aka 'Microsoft Windows Security Feature Bypass Vulnerability'.
CVE-2025-67135Weak Security in the PF-50 1.2 keyfob of PGST PG107 Alarm System 1.25.05.hf allows attackers to compromise access control via a code replay attack.
CVE-2025-65552D3D Wi-Fi Home Security System ZX-G12 v2.1.1 is vulnerable to RF replay attacks on the 433 MHz sensor communication channel. The system does not implement rolling codes, message authentication, or anti-replay protection, allowing an attacker within RF range to record valid alarm/control frames and replay them to trigger false alarms.
CVE-2025-55306GenX_FX is an advance IA trading platform that will focus on forex trading. A vulnerability was identified in the GenX FX backend where API keys and authentication tokens may be exposed if environment variables are misconfigured. Unauthorized users could gain access to cloud resources (Google Cloud, Firebase, GitHub, etc.).
CVE-2025-54428RevelaCode is an AI-powered faith-tech project that decodes biblical verses, prophecies and global events into accessible language. In versions below 1.0.1, a valid MongoDB Atlas URI with embedded username and password was accidentally committed to the public repository. This could allow unauthorized access to production or staging databases, potentially leading to data exfiltration, modification, or deletion. This is fixed in version 1.0.1. Workarounds include: immediately rotating credentials for the exposed database user, using a secret manager (like Vault, Doppler, AWS Secrets Manager, etc.) instead of storing secrets directly in code, or auditing recent access logs for suspicious activity.
CVE-2025-52095An issue in PDQ Smart Deploy V.3.0.2040 allows an attacker to escalate privileges via the Credential encryption routines in SDCommon.dll
CVE-2025-27650Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic) before Virtual Appliance Host 22.0.862 Application 20.0.2014 allows Private Keys in Docker Overlay V-2023-013.
CVE-2025-27648Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic) before Virtual Appliance Host 22.0.913 Application 20.0.2253 allows Cross Tenant Password Exposure V-2024-003.
CVE-2025-25570Vue Vben Admin 2.10.1 allows unauthorized login to the backend due to an issue with hardcoded credentials.
CVE-2025-23342The NVIDIA NVDebug tool contains a vulnerability that may allow an actor to gain access to a privileged account . A successful exploit of this vulnerability may lead to code execution, denial of service, escalation of privileges, information disclosure and data tampering.
