Arbitrary commands execution on the server by exploiting a command injection vulnerability in the LDAP authentication mechanism. This issue affects Pandora FMS: from 700 through <=777.4
The product constructs all or part of a command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended command when it is sent to a downstream component.

This attack can be especially dangerous since administrators may assume that the back-end server is protected against direct Internet access and therefore may not secure it adequately against the execution of malicious commands.
