An issue was discovered in OpenEMR before 5.0.1 Patch 7. There is SQL Injection in the make_task function in /interface/forms/eye_mag/php/taskman_functions.php via /interface/forms/eye_mag/taskman.php.
The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Without sufficient removal or quoting of SQL syntax in user-controllable inputs, the generated SQL query can cause those inputs to be interpreted as SQL instead of ordinary user data.
